Today I took my first step to liven up my living space. I've seen on other pages about making your own headboard and how easy it is. They're right! It is easy. The hardest part was getting from Grandville Lowes to my place in Standale at 20mph on a windy day with a chunk of wood strapped to the hood of my car. Let's just say my wrist was very sore when I finally arrived.
This is the pattern that I chose.
I ironed the backside to get rid of any wrinkles.
I put the batting and the fabric together. I wrapped it tight around the edges of the board.
Secured with the nail gun.
Ta - da!
I think it looks good!
It sure brightens up the room, doesn't it? It's amazing what a little bit of color can do!
